During most of her employment from 1987 to 2013, Dottie Crawford served as the "Advisement Counselor" in the College of Business, formerly the Department of Business Administration. Over that period of time, she advised and helped many students both academically and, following her motherly instincts, in their everyday lives. She soon became their unofficial "mom."
Dottie consistently showed care and concern for each and every student she encountered. She was equally helpful to faculty and staff alike. Setting up this scholarship, pays tribute to an individual who became a second mom to so many students, faculty, and staff and most importantly honors the legacy of a wise, kind, and nurturing individual.
