24hr Test Success!

April 03, 2019

Last week Andrew and Rachel performed a 24-hour durability system test to ensure the purifier runs smoothly. After the 24hrs the system was operating better than we were! Below we attached our results, and everything looks fantastic and ready for installation!

This Friday we are running our water purification test and making sure the purifier is filtering as is should!

The Purifier Runs Well

April 03, 2019

Things are busy in the Project Haiti lab as we get ready for our installation trip. We recently completed a 24 hour test of our purifier and it passed with flying colors. During the whole 24 hours, members of the team were observing the purifiers performance and taking readings to make sure everything was running smoothly. The next step is water testing as well as planning out what everything is going to look like in Haiti.

The Daytona Beach News Journal Highlights Project Haiti

February 20, 2019

As Project Haiti gains momentum and begins testing on our purifier, The Daytona Beach News Journal shared what we're all about with the local community. The article explains why getting clean water is such a struggle in Haiti as well as speaking to how that motivates us to do what we do.

The Purifier Comes to Life

February 11, 2019

The water purifier is finished! Everything is mounted, connected, and ready to be turned on. On Friday, we were able to cross this major milestone and turn our purifier on! There are still a few kinks to work out, however. Even so, we are almost ready to move onto the testing phase!

Almost Finished with the Purifier

February 11, 2019

Our water purifier, which we will be bringing to Haiti this coming May, is starting to come together. It has been a long process but we are seeing our work pay off. All components of the purifier have been mounted to the frame and we have connected everything together using hoses. Once the purifier is finished, we will move onto the testing stage where we will make sure the purifier works the way we want it to and is ready to go to Haiti.
