Help Break the Electric Land Speed Record!


The Eagle Works Advanced Vehicle Lab is a completely student run organization based out of Embry-Riddle's Prescott, Arizona campus. The team is currently dedicated to developing Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's first student-built electric land speed vehicle. The goal of the project is to set a new world record of 250 MPH in the E-2 Class (1100-2100lbs) for electric land speed vehicles. 


The Team plans to complete the project before Speed Week, a racing competition on the Bonneville Salt Flats, by the Summer of 2019. Currently, the Team is in the middle of construction and testing is underway. The team has a complete CAD model and we are currently looking toward optimizing driver comfort and finalizing an aeroshell design.

Choose a giving level


75-MPH Club

Help us get our engine started through with just a small donation. A lot of little things add up, and your generosity will help us acquire small components like the copper wire and cooling tubing.


100-MPH club

Help us hit the accelerator! Your donation will help us pay for larger components including a hub bearing and components for the drivers compartment.


150-MPH club

As speeds increase, so does the need for safety. Donating at this level helps pay for safety items including a five-point safety harness and fire extinguishing equipment.


200-MPH club

That land speed record is just out of reach! This donation level will help pay for up to five gallons of di-electric oil for motor cooling, and the larger components of the frame including metal and welding supplies.


250+ MPH club

Speeding toward the finish! This level of donation helps us pay for larger items including the aeroshell and motor controllers
