Eagle Loop is building a Pod Racer

Our mission in EagleLoop is much more than the HyperLoop. As our motto states: “Motivate, Innovate, Accelerate." We want our members to experience how an engineering company grows. With our leadership formed as a ladder, it enables members to have the potential of becoming an Engineering Lead, gaining more of an idea of how it is to be in charge of their own department.

With this experience, we hope our members have the best chances of gaining a great internship in their field. Our club also has a business team, allowing a broader area of learning for our engineers to decide how our club will be run financially, in recruitment, and its resources. Although our mission may look simply as a structural engineering project, we want to provide the professional awareness large corporations require from our students.

The Eagle Loop club will participate in the Hyperloop competition hosted by SpaceX, which will be testing and racing pods built by universities and companies nationwide. Funds in support of Eagle Loop will go toward building our team's race pod.

Co-Founder David:

"Embry-Riddle's SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition Team, Eagle-Loop, is not just a club.  It is a dynamic competition based project that will prepare it's members for success in the Aerospace Profession.  The design and project cycle are modeled directly to what you would see in the Industry. Our mission is to provide this exposure early on in our members development in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Cyber Security, and more.  In addition to providing this unique access to Industry, while still in College, Eagle-Loop is also focused on preparing our members Professionally and Personally to be successful not only while at Embry-Riddle, but after. We have a great relationship with the Industry and they know the types of members we have.  We are sought out whenever possible and it is easily apparent that we have a leg up on other candidates for any position, internship, co-op, or full time position."

Co-Founder Graham:

"At the center of Eagle-loop’s purpose is the acceleration of hyperloop technology development for Florida, the United States, and the World.  A functional, economically-viable, Hyperloop infrastructure promises reduced travel times and costs across the country and the entire developed world.  Our goal is to provide students with an opportunity to personally have a hand in shaping a brighter tomorrow for all mankind. Hyperloop will connect cities in ways never before possible.  This promises a more competitive labor market, lower prices of goods and services, and more families home for the holidays. Eagle-loop aspires to benefit humanity just as visionaries like the Wright Brothers and Henry Ford did so many years ago."
