Eagles "On Ice" Campaign - Heading to Nationals

UPDATE: 3/12/2020

The national tournament has been cancelled. All funding will go towards next year's success for the Embry-Riddle Ice Hockey Team. Thank you for your continued support, you help our Eagles to soar. For questions, please contact Bill Thompson:

The picture above is the 2019-2020 Team. This Team recently defeated the #1 Ranked team twice to earn a strong ranking for the first half of the season.  Our current statistics place us 13th in the nation. This team has the leadership, potential, will and the talent to make national recognition a reality for Embry-Riddle Ice Hockey.

The Embry-Riddle Ice Hockey Team has come out on top during regional qualifying play to win their first ever berth to the National Championship!

The Eagles beat Georgia Tech 5 to 0, and then eliminated Florida Gulf Coast with a score of 3 to 2 to be one of 16 top-ranked teams.

We need your help to raise the funds needed to get us to Texas so we can represent our great university in championship hockey!

The Embry-Riddle hockey team has been in existence for 23 years. We now need your assistance to keep this dream “On Ice” to help your Eagles attain national recognition. We have started a “Eagles On Ice” Campaign to help offset the cost.

Ice hockey is club sport at Embry-Riddle. As such, the club receives limited financial support from the university and must be primarily funded by student dues. Our players commit up to $1,000 per season to compete in this league, but they still need your support to make it to Nationals. Your tax deductible donation will assist the team with travel, equipment, practice and ice time support.

Our overall fundraising goal is to raise $10,000 in order to travel and prepare for this opportunity. This includes: Ice time, equipment, rental vans, travel, lodging, food, meals and airline tickets.

We ask you to come along on this journey by providing any financial support you feel is appropriate. Your help will have a direct impact on our student-athletes and help to create lifelong memories on our quest to make Eagle Ice Hockey history.

Every donation counts. Our goal is to get enough support to help our students be the best students, citizens and Eagles on Ice. Follow along with our success on our Facebook page.

In a hockey theme:

Your Checks will keep us checking our way to nationals-

Your Checks will Board us on to our travel destinations.

Your Checks will help us achieve more goals.
