P.A.W.S. Trap-Spay-Neuter-Release Program

Who We Are

The mission of P.A.W.S. (Protecting Animal Awareness Society) is to reduce the number of feral cats (called "working campus cats" as they reduce the rat population) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) through adoption and other humane methods, while improving the health and living conditions of the remaining working campus cats. We do this by collaborating with students, faculty, staff, and animal professionals to educate the ERAU community to institute and maintain a successful and professional trap-neuter-return program. In addition, we also provide necessary health and medical care for the working campus cats. We encourage students, and other members, in the P.A.W.S. organization to become involved in the community while encouraging growth in organizational, managerial, and communication skills.

How You Can Help

The easiest way is to simply donate to our club. The donations we receive will go directly toward assisting the cats and toward our club goals, which include setting up feeding stations, working with our local Humane Society to spay and neuter and vaccinate the cats, as well as paying for any treatments the cats may need. Just one dollar can make all the difference for these cats, and every donation matters.

If you wish to assist in other ways, such as providing food, services or materials and goods, please contact us directly to let us know what you have in mind.

Gold Cat

Helps to pay for two ($50) Adoption fees to be waived so two of our kittens get to find a new home for free to any ERAU faculty, staff, student, or alum. Short- waves 2 adoption fees
