Project Haiti - Help us provide clean water to children in Haiti!

Every year since the 2010 earthquake, ERAU's Project Haiti has partnered with different NGOs and local Haitians to design, build and install solar-powered water purifiers throughout Haiti, primarily at orphanages and schools. In addition to installing the water purifier, ERAU students prepare and teach WASH (water and sanitation hygiene) lessons to local children and adults. To ensure the purifier's sustainability, students also set up a micro-business to sell excess clean water funding both purifier maintenance and school/orphanage operation costs. May 7 - 13 we will travel to Haiti once again. This year's site is home to an orphanage housing 30 children and a school serving 200 students near downtown Gonaïves, Haiti's third largest city. The potential impact of this year's installation is tremendous. Unfortunately, due to the non-renewal of a grant, the project may have to be scaled back.  We need funds to install a solar-power system capable of meeting the potential impact of this site.

Funds raised up to our fundraising target of $5,000 dollars will be used to purchase parts to increase the capacity of the solar-power system.  Funds raised over the target will be used to purchase supplies for the micro-business (5 gallon water jugs, water bottle labels), support maintenance at past purifier sites, and help send more students on this year's installation trip.

Make a splash with Project Haiti, donate to help fund our 9th water purifier installation in Haiti!

Go with the flow and help fund our reverse osmosis water purifier! Reverse osmosis is a state of the art method of water purification that uses a high pressure to separate water molecules from bacteria, viruses and even salt particles !

Since 2010, over 9,985 lives have been lost in Haiti's Cholera outbreak (WHO). Help us provide clean water, the key to preventing the spread of Cholera.

They say it takes a village to raise a child but all it takes is your donation to provide clean water to 170+ children in Haiti!

Take the plunge with Project Haiti! Our solar-power system produces about 2 kW of energy to power our purifier.

Dive deep and help our team provide clean water using renewable energy! Our water purifier has the capability to purify 2000 gallons per day.
