Embry-Riddle Sailing Club

We’re a student led sailing club at Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach, dedicated to growing the sport on campus and competing in the Intercollegiate Sailing Association. We offer free lessons and welcome all students. In fact, 80% of our members have never sailed before! Each semester, we continue to grow, turning beginners into lifelong sailors.

Sailing also brings classroom learning to life. Sails act much like vertical wings, while the boats rigging, steering, and other mechanical systems give students opportunities to apply engineering concepts on the water. Along the way, our members build teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills that extend well beyond sailing.

Your gift will help cover the everyday costs that keep our team on the water, including boat maintenance and repairs, essential safety equipment, and transportation to collegiate regattas. Every contribution helps us offer safe, accessible sailing opportunities and represent Embry-Riddle in competition.
