Gifts to Daytona Beach Microgravity Club - Latch Point contribute to...

Our team, Latch Point, is primarily focused on creating a prototype design for a passive capture tool dock (PCTD) meant to make it easier for astronauts to holster NASA's pistol grip tool (PGT) during extravehicular activities (EVA). Furthermore, as one of three teams from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) selected to continue the challenge this semester, our team will have the opportunity to test our product in person at NASA's Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL) At the end of May this year.
We are trying to raise roughly $2,500 so that our team can cover travel costs to and from the NBL and so that we can complete the manufacturing of our prototypes within the given timeline. Gifts made to the Microgravity Club on Ascend Day of Giving will go to support Latch Point's travel, with any excess supporting the club's other initiatives. Thank you for considering Latch Point during Day of Giving.
