The mission of oSTEM is to provide a safe space for the LGBTQ+ student community at our campus to thrive by being their most authentic self; to advocate for the support and wellbeing of each member of our community; and to foster personal, academic, and professional development for our members to succeed in all aspects of their collegiate experience. Since its inception, this chapter has held and participated in a multitude of events that helped solidify its status as the leading LGBTQ+ student organization on campus. This has allowed members to attend the Annual oSTEM Conference year after year. This has provided participants with an unparalleled platform to network, get involved in research, learn about grad school, find an internship or full-time job offer, and most importantly, build community and interact with like-minded individuals.
oSTEM is asking for you to help support their club's participation in the oSTEM annual conference and to go to various Pride celebrations in the area to volunteer for the Human Rights Campaign.
