Embry-Riddle Search and Rescue Technologies (SARTEC) - Daytona Beach

Our mission is to provide solutions to difficulties relating to search and rescue operations. We are currently working on two main projects. The first project is a fixed-wing UAV capable of surveying a confined area for missing personal and deploying a medical kit to those who are not easily accessible for first response. Our other project is a tugboat capable of locating distressed individuals involved in underwater wreckages.

We are trying to raise $1000 so that our club is able to afford the latest technology for our fixed-wing aircraft so that it is capable of a longer flight time and higher accuracy and camera quality of the surveillance.
