Gifts to Jack R. Hunt Library contribute to...
The Daytona Beach Hunt Library supports students at the Daytona Beach and Worldwide campuses, providing a flexible workspace to collaborate as well as quiet spaces to read and study. The Director is eager to move forward with new and interesting ways to enhance library use and effectiveness. The library functions as an important hub for student learning and the library is always looking to improve each student's experience. Funding will help to provide collections in support of research and the curriculum, student-focused programming, furnishings, technology and other important components that allow students to work effectively in the space.
The Hunt Library requests your support towards two vital funds that directly impact student success.
- The Daytona Beach Hunt Library Fund for Excellence: Provides flexible, immediate-use resources that allow the library to support priorities such as new electronic collections or library furnishings that will enhance study spaces in response to student feedback.
- The Daytona Beach Gertrude V. Worthington Library Endowment: Provides extra support for events and programs, such as a peanut butter and jelly sandwich bar to keep students fueled and focused during every finals week, or a library-sponsored lecture series sponsored by the University Archives and focused on aviation and aerospace history.
