Gifts to Worldwide Aviation Maintenance SkillBridge for Transitioning Military, Veterans and Military Spouses contribute to...
Support AMT SkillBridge and help our active duty service members soar!

Gifts made to AMT SkillBridge help active-duty service members apply their real-world experience to a transitional certification, which eases their exit from active duty. The Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) SkillBridge program is a nine-week, full-time program designed to train and place transitioning service members, honorably discharged veterans, and eligible military spouses into aviation maintenance and technician careers with reputable aerospace industry partners who are committed to hiring them.
Applicants are not required to have an aviation maintenance background, but they must have a mechanical aptitude. Full-time attendance is mandatory since the training classroom is the duty location for active service members.
The program is open to military service members within six months of separation or retirement, transitioned veterans with an honorable discharge, and military spouses. Program attendees must meet eligibility requirements and be willing to relocate to industry partner hiring locations.
*Ascend Day of Giving is sponsored by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to support funds that are not an official part of the U.S. Armed Forces. The Department of Defense has not approved, endorsed or otherwise authorized these funds.
