During more than 30 years as an educator and Chair of the Aviation Maintenance Science (AMS) department, Grover Frederick “Fred” Mirgle (’81) made a difference in the lives of Embry-Riddle students every day. The 2022 Grover Frederick Mirgle Scholarship was established by family members Jan Kissimon and Tom Stitt. Now, an endowed scholarship will continue his legacy and inspire future Aviation Maintenance Technicians.
