Empower the next generation of diverse engineers – Your donation to the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) fuels NSBE’s mission to propel students toward internship, jobs, and success.

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is the largest student-managed organization in the country. With more than 600 chapters and more than 24,000 active members in the U.S. and abroad, NSBE’s mission is “to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community."

NSBE Embry-Riddle Chapter (ERAU NSBE) was founded on Nov. 15, 2000, and our main goal is to improve the professional, academic, and overall value of our members. Through programs like the Creative Original Researched Engineering (CORE) project, an ERAU NSBE exclusive program, which provides hands-on engineering opportunities to our members. ERAU NSBE aims to host as many professionals as possible for networking opportunities, job or internship opportunities, and insights in the professional world. This ensures members' preparation at our National and Regional Conferences. We coordinate events such as pre-collegiate mentoring sessions to our local high-school students, community service events, fun engineering competitions to spark creativity, academic study sessions, professional workshop day, tours to engineering companies such as Kennedy Space Center (KSC). We host an annual gala to celebrate our achievements, reunite with alumni, and network with professionals. Our presence is known on campus as we have received an Inclusive, Diversity and Equity award (IDEA) from our College of Engineering Dean’s department and an Exceptional Eagles award also known as the Student Organization of the Year Award by the Student Engagement department.

Donating to our organization will ensure that our events and initiatives are not affected financially. Your donation allows more sponsorship opportunities for students to attend conferences to secure internships and/or job opportunities, scholarships, community involvement, and technical development.
