Prescott Rocket Development Lab

The Rocket Development Lab's mission is to provide the students of Embry-Riddle with the knowledge, resources and an environment to safely learn and develop rocket technology. Regardless of a student's major, class standing or prior rocketry experience, the RDL is committed to opening the doors of rocketry to all people. With over 500 members, 20 active projects, and three world records for collegiate rocketry, the RDL is pushing the boundaries of rocketry.

The RDL is looking to raise $9,000 to provide students with the resources to further advance rocketry technology at Embry-Riddle. Specifically, they are looking to finish their rocket, Deneb 2, which is slated to launch over 100,000 feet and smash their own currently-held world records. They are also looking to enhance research capabilities for rocket engine testing — providing a unique experience for students to research guidance, navigation and control systems.
