Gifts to Prescott Undergraduate Research contribute to...

The Undergraduate Research Institute helps students:
- apply critical thinking, ethics and information analyses in decision-making processes
- understand the nature of research investigation and scholarship
- use discipline-based inquiry skills in their communities to create or understand new knowledge
- disseminate their research to engage with their community and enhance communication skills
The office assists with matching students who are interested in conducting research to professors, teams and clubs that are engaged in research that dovetails with student interests.
“It’s pretty cool, as an undergraduate, to have these opportunities and to excel forward. Now, when I get into the working field, I will have a leg up over those at some other universities where undergraduates might have to go to extreme lengths to do research.” - Somaralyz Grullon
