Gifts to Daytona Beach Midshipman Battalion Recreation Committee contribute to...
The Midshipmen Battalion Recreation Committee supports the professional and personal development of future military officers in Naval Science by funding key events that enhance leadership, camaraderie, and service. Our efforts help provide resources for our commissioning ceremony, Naval Ball, training evolutions, and leadership conferences, ensuring midshipmen have the opportunity to grow, celebrate milestones, and represent our university on national and international stages. Your support directly strengthens the next generation of military leaders.
We are seeking $6,000 to support three key initiatives that enhance the development and experience of our midshipmen: Naval Ball ($3,000): Covers venue rental, food, and decorations to uphold the rich traditions and history of our service branches through a professional and memorable celebration. Leadership Conferences & Drill Meets ($2,000): Provides travel, housing, and admission fees for midshipmen to attend leadership events, gaining hands-on experience, developing leadership skills, and representing our university at a national level. Commissioning Ceremony ($1,000): Supports gifts, guest of honor travel, food, and decorations for this milestone event, honoring midshipmen as they transition into becoming officers.
*Ascend Day of Giving is sponsored by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to support funds that are not an official part of the U.S. Armed Forces. The Department of Defense has not approved, endorsed or otherwise authorized these funds.
