About

The intercollegiate athletics program at Embry-Riddle has set a high standard both academically and athletically since it began in 1988. Now 10 years into our NCAA Division II journey, our student-athletes, teams and coaches continue to build on the foundation set by those that preceded them. From conference championships, to All-Americans, to summa cum laude graduates, our student-athletes continue to perform at the highest level as the “Student-Person-Player” philosophy continue to support our vision to be the best of the best in all areas.

Gifts made to Embry-Riddle Women's Rowing during the 2026 Athletics Week of Giving will help our student-athletes grow and excel as they journey through their college careers. Your gift goes directly to enhancing the women's rowing program’s overall student-athlete experience, including purchasing telemetry systems, team bonding, travel and programs that help prepare them for life after Embry-Riddle. Help us continue to build the legacy of Embry-Riddle Athletics with a gift to support the women's rowing program.

Funds will support:

  • Team Travel: Help cover travel expenses for the ERAU Women's Rowing Team as they compete at premier regattas and events, including West Coast Division II competition, SIRA, and the Dad Vail Regatta. Travel costs average approximately $750 per athlete per event, providing our student-athletes with valuable opportunities to compete against top programs from across the country.
  • Safety Equipment: Purchase essential safety equipment, including bow and stern lights for rowing shells. The team needs four sets at approximately $100 per set to help ensure safe practices and transportation.
  • Boat and Equipment Maintenance: Support the ongoing repair and upkeep of racing shells, coaches' launches, engines, and boat trailers. Approximately $8,000 annually is needed to keep equipment safe, reliable, and competition-ready throughout the season.
  • Team-Building Activities: Support team functions and traditions that strengthen relationships and create a positive team culture, including the end-of-year team dinner, Freshman Talent Show, and Champ Camp.
  • Spring Break Training: Provide funding for local training opportunities during Spring Break. Rather than traveling overnight, funds help offset the cost of day trips to locations such as DeLand and Lake County, allowing the team to continue training on buoyed water while remaining on campus.
  • Boat Transportation Covers: Purchase protective covers to safeguard racing shells during transportation. Each cover costs approximately $1,349, with a goal of acquiring up to five covers to protect the team's equipment as they travel to competitions.

Every donation directly supports the ERAU Women's Rowing Team by helping provide safe, reliable equipment, meaningful team experiences, and opportunities to travel, train, and compete at the highest level.
